Whiteboard Challenge 2009
Entry Guidelines
Submissions will be accepted until 5:00 pm CST, Thursday May 28, 2009. Applicants must be available to present on Tuesday June 16th 2009 from 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm if selected as a finalist. All submission will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will determine the number of finalists. Finalist will be notified on or about June 8th, 2009.
Applicants will be asked to submit their ideas online. Submission must include a description of the idea; one paragraph (maximum 400 words).
Judges will evaluate each idea based on the following criteria:
- Does the idea clearly identify a problem or challenge?
- Is a solution clearly identified?
- Uniqueness of idea
- Is the ideas realistic and is there market potential
- Audience appeal
Applicants are encouraged to make their applications as clear and understandable as possible to optimize their chances for selection. Please be mindful of the length of your submission. Each year we receive more applications which require countless hours to review. Applications that do not follow the guidelines will be automatically disqualified. Finalists will have five minutes to present their idea using only a whiteboard and colored markers on the evening of June 16th. Cash awards will be presented to the top three finalists as judged by a panel of entrepreneurs and innovators and the program audience. Additional details will be available prior to finalist selection.
